OUR STORY

Inspired by projects like Vocal Ascend, Praise and Harmony, and The Zoe Group, Resound A Cappella came together to bring modern worship songs with ancient messages to the one-cup churches of Christ. Our vocal group was started by Haden Ayers in December of 2025 with this mission statement to keep us grounded: Fortify. Edify. Glorify.

FORTIFY.

Strengthen the body of Christ with a cappella music that is scriptural, worshipful, and uplifting.

EDIFY.

Teach the body of Christ new songs with which to encourage and admonish one another.

GLORIFY.

Use the gift of song to bring glory, honor, and praise to God.

At the beginning of this year, we began recording our debut album, Redeemed, which we plan to release in early December. This album includes 14 songs written and arranged for a cappella singing Haden Ayers, Joey Hickey, Aaron Risener, Andrew Martin, Uriah Fancher, and more.

Throughout the production of this album, Haden and Cora have spent thousands of dollars on equipment, software, and travel, as well as hundreds of man-hours recording our voices and audio-editing. When it comes time to release the album, they will also need to pay a distributor and copyright holders. To cover these costs, we are asking for $7,568. If, by God's grace, we exceed this amount, every dollar beyond it will go directly to producing the next album.
